The Roxbury Public Library kicks off its Third Annual Adult Summer Reading Program. Our theme this year is Think Global, Read Local and we're offering a bevy of international-themed programs to entertain and inform you this summer.
Our first program will be this Friday at 7PM when Jodee James will perform Celtic music at the library. Next Tuesday at 7PM, James P. Kane will give you a whirlwind tour of the world with his slideshow/lecture Around the World in 60 Minutes.
After that, we start our Foreign Film Festival. Every Tuesday night at 6PM from June 17th to August 5th, we will be showing contemporary foreign films. A complete list of titles can be found to the right.
There will also be weekly prizes and a photo contest. Watch this space for further details.
